Portchester School has four houses, which are named after iconic sports men and women - MacArthur, Moore, Pele, and Redgrave.
When the students join the school they are placed into one of these houses for the remainder of their time at Portchester.
Throughout the course of each academic year there are a variety of inter-house competitions, as well as the ongoing house point competition.
House points are awarded to students as a reward for a number of reasons which include good behaviour, good work, or a positive attitude.
