Castle Building
On Thursday 10th December we were pleased to hold our second castle building evening after the success of the one last year. This year students were also give the opportunity to build their castles out of cake as well as using the technology room to design and build a castle.
The evening was a great success and some fantastic castles were made. Students from year 7 along with students from our feeder schools in year 6 were invited with their families to join staff from history and technology to design their dream castles.
The staff on hand to advise our student included Mrs Parsons, lead learner of humanities: Mrs Moore, head of technology, Mr Di Maio, technology teacher and Mr Harding, IT teacher. We were all impressed with the enthusiasm of the students and parents alike and the finished castles were really well made and some very tasty!
