Uniform

School uniform is to be worn by all pupils from Year 7 to Year 11 to:

• Create a sense of identity
• Maintain a business like working atmosphere
• Present a favourable image in the community
• Minimise pressure to conform to the vagaries of fashion
• Provide access to good quality uniform at reasonable prices

The uniform consists of:
Navy blue V-neck jumper with school badge, a school tie, light blue shirt, black trousers and smart black footwear

Coats
Coats should be plain of a sensible style and without slogans

Trousers
Must be plain black tailored style and fitted on the waist
Track suit bottoms are not acceptable


Shoes
Footwear should be smart plain and black. No white or coloured trainers

General Points
Ties must be worn at all times
Ties must be done up
Shirts must be tucked in
Jumpers are to be worn at all times (unless permission to remove them is given by the teacher during lesson time)
House Badges and School Colours should be sewn onto the school jumper
Hats / Baseball caps are not to be worn whilst in school
Hoodies (with the exception of the personalised Year 11 Hoodie) and/ or coats are not to be worn whilst in school

PE Kit
PE kit must be brought to all PE lessons even if the student is unable to take part in the activities for any reason. This ensures the student maintains their routine and will remember their kit when they are able to resume participation in PE

Jewellery
No visible piercings are allowed
No studs, earrings, rings, neck chains or bracelets are allowed
Any jewellery that does not conform to the school's uniform code will be confiscated, passed to the Site Manager
and returned to the Parent/Carer only. Persistent offenders will face appropriate sanctions

Hair Styles
No extremes of colour or style are acceptable
